I don't know why but this seems to have some link to what is going on in the blogshere.
As the emergent guy is asking questions (whether good or bad), the Evangelical is starting to conclude he doesn't deserve an answer. Hmmm ... that seems wrong doesn't it?
And as the sailor jumped overboard thinking he could more accurately get to his destination, his fellow sailors threw out a lifeline to him before he drifted too far.
Not yet realizing his mistake the sailor refused the line while his fellow sailors kept throwing out the line.
Finally the sailors grew tired of his refusal so they reeled in the line and mocked him. God's love in action.
