eschatological probabilities

Virgil Vaduva did some excellent work modeling the probability of Jesus' return based on the historic evidence. The results are compelling.

Glad to see you are still reading my blog and find it interesting enough to recommend. :)

Also, what cigar are you smoking in the picture? I finally picked up a couple of Arturo Fuentes from the local shop and they are the first cigars I actually like. I have been smoking a pipe for a long time but never cigars until now.

Oh, and the $9 a pop price is a bit prohibitive :)

Virgil - your blog is excellent.

The cigar I smoke is excellent, illegal, and expensive. I lived in Europe for 6 six years before moving to Cincinnati. It was there I got hooked on Cohiba Siglo VI's. They are Cuban so they are illegal. At the time they were 13 EUR so roughly 13 USD. They have gone up and the exchange rate has shifted. They are now $25-30 each. I guard the one's I have remaining as if they were $100 each.

Perhaps soon we will lift the embargo on Cuba and these things will again become available legally.

Enjoy the 4th - it is an excuse to smoke another one..hehe
