"The Assemblies of God, based in Springfield, Missouri, has rejected "social dancing" since its founding in Hot Springs, Ark. in 1914." reports Frank Lockwood....The church calls all Christian adults and parents to abstain from social dancing for themselves and their children in light of God’s desire for His people to be a separate and holy people (2 Cor. 6:16-18, Titus 2:11-14, 2 Tim. 2:21-22).Interesting since some social dancers think the AG'ers should stop dancing in church.
