where is the kingdom?

The Kingdom of God, where (or should it be "when") is it?

• Near? Mt 4.17, 6.9-10, 10.7, 24.32-36; Mk 1.14-15, 13.28-32; Lk 4.42-43, 11.2, 10.9, 21.29-33
• Present? Mt 12.25-28, 11.12-13; Lk 16.16, 17.20-21
• Coming? Mt 16.28, 26.26-29; Mk 9.1, 14.22-25; Lk 9.27, 22.15-18

Ah, the "already not yet" ... this made for some interesting discussion last night. God's rule and reign has always been (Isa 52.7, Psa 96-97, 99; Isa 63.12, Exo 15.18) but there's something about Christ's presence on earth, culminating at the cross that changed the "accessibility" of the Kingdom. And yet even this is a foretaste of what is to come in glorification.
