it's time ...

Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” - Mk 1.14-15 (ESV)

After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. 15"The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news! - Mk 1.14-15 (NIV)

Questions? It depends on what your point is. If your point is that we as believers have spread doctrine while seriously ignored kingdom living, I have no questions.

If you mean that our view of the atonement is flawed I have many questions.

Rick - interesting angle. In light of your approach, I'm not sure what I meant. Can you communicate in a succinct way how you separate atonement from kingdom living?

I find a line of demarcation between kingdom living and preaching the atonement. Living is "created unto good works" is such a way as to give the Holy Spirit substance with which to draw spiritual interest and authenticity.

The atonement is received purely and distinctly through faith. Christianity includes works of mercy and grace, but the cross is THE work of atonement without which no one can be saved.
