proper use of the law

What is the proper use of the Law?
  • It shows the righteousness that God requires.
  • It shows the righteousness that Christ fulfilled as our substitute.
  • It serves as a backdrop by which we can tell if we are walking in the Spirit.

yeah the first two! Did Adam and Eve need the knowledge of good and evil in order to walk with God?

Jul - I'm going to have to break with history here and disagree with you. The point was "a backdrop by which we can tell" not a tool or method to walk in the Spirit.

No, Adam and Eve did not need that knowledge to walk with God but once they had it they could see clearly that they were not walking with Him.
