I like generally love the photography at The Big Picture. These Christmas snaps are no exception.
I miss the Weihnachtsmarkt in Frankfurt.
But I didn't know about "caganer" ceramic figurines (this of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin) in Torroella de MontgrÃ, Spain. The caption informs me that statuettes of well-known people defecating are a strong Christmas tradition in Catalonia, dating back to the 18th century as Catalonians hide caganers in Christmas Nativity scenes and invite friends to find them.
