Listen, I don't know Brian McLaren. I know several people that affirm he is a kind man and very well intended. I have no reason to doubt them and I have no reason to question his intentions. But what I can say is that while I have not read A New Kind of Christianity from end to end (I just found it a waste of time), I've read enough to say I agree with Bruce Ware's replacement title, An Old Kind of Apostasy.
