I recently posted Walt Mueller's Why Gay Marriage Is Good For The Church. Now I want to attest that the discussion has also been very good for me. In it I have grown in my understanding and appreciation of the relationship between Christ and the Church and between my wife and I.

In For a Glory and a Covering, Doug Wilson writes:

Although the man leads in the dance, the result of his leading is to showcase his lady. This is because he is dancing with his glory, and the last thing in the world he should want to do is upstage his own glory. It would make no sense: 'Stop looking at my glory! Look at me.'
