I just received an email from Spencer Burke with his open letter to Rob Bell ... one thing I did like, Burke wrote, "if I am not a little bit embarrassed about what I said yesterday, then I have probably not learned anything today…” I think that's fair. On the other hand, Burke fell into the "THE mark of a Christ-follower" trap addressed here ... and I think he also took a little too much liberty with 1 Cor 13 ... but that's Spencer ...
