Doing bad things to others brings suffering. Doing good to others brings happiness and blessings. This is the essence of Buddhism. ~ Dalai Lama ... heard on CNN while waiting in the airport.
I found this statement interesting since it sounded very much like the claims of some friends of mine who call themselves Christians. I think these friends may have signed up for the wrong religion. They are Buddhists and don't know it.
